Master student with an interest in Alzheimer’s disease and neuroregeneration, with the ambitious aim of giving my own personal contribution to the research in this fast-evolving science field.

Student from the covered in snow Italian Alps, undergraduate at Università di Trento in Biomolecular Sciences and Technologies, moved to the land of tulips and windmills, The Netherlands, where I am currently enrolled in Biomedical Sciences at Utrecht University.

In my Research Project, snRNA sequencing is a powerful tool to identify new and more reliable candidate markers for different neural cell types, in particular for neural stem cells (NSC), involved in adult hippocampal neurogenesis (AHN), which could be fundamental to understand why this process is impaired in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
