Narcolepsy

Narcolepsy is characterized, among other things, by excessive daytime sleepiness (not due to sleep deprivation) and uncontrollable, brief sleep attacks during the day. This is due to sudden muscle relaxation that occurs with emotions, for example, where people can suddenly fall to the floor and be unable to move.
