About Elif
I am currently doing my internship at the Social Brain Lab in Christian Keyser’s group with my supervisor Frédéric Michon. Our research is on modelling rodent emotional states with computational techniques, comparing recurrent switching linear dynamical systems (rSLDS) and structured recurrent neural networks (sRNN) to study neuronal population recordings in rats.

I have an undergraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence, and I am pursuing a master’s in Artificial Intelligence  with a specialisation in Cognitive Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I am highly interested in the convergence of Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence, and this research allows me to explore the convergence. Looking forward to seeing the results and pursuing this further!
