About Marc

The retina is the environmental-neuronal interface of the visual system; converting changes in light entering the eye into the brain’s electrical language transmitted via a handful of actively extracted ecologically relevant channels.

I currently use electrophysiology (single cell and MEA), signal processing, machine learning, statistical and data analytic methodologies (and anything else I can find that’s useful) to understand this remarkable feat

I choose to do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard.
