By employing a combination of techniques from experimental psychology, functional neuroimaging and virtual reality, I am currently investigating neuro-cognitive mechanisms underlying human spatial navigation and decision-making in social contexts, with the aim to break new ground in our understanding of not just the neural basis of specific cognitive processes, but also the social brain in general.
