Chris works on the neural mechanisms of (visual) perception and cognition. How does our brain process information and what mechanisms give rise to flexible, goal-directed behavior? How can we get a grip on these processes and improve lifeusing our knowledge of the brain and novel neurotechnologies? Chris uses using behavioral, computational, neurophysiological and neuroimaging methods, and he is enthusiastic advocate of open and collaborative science.
