Ali Lotfi

Previously, I worked in Donders Institute in Nijmegen an intern in multiple labs during my bachelor’s and master’s. During this time, I gained experience with studying behavioral neuroscience both in rodents and humans. Fascinated by studying complex behaviors in animals and using cutting-edge techniques, I joined the Social Brain Lab as a research assistant. In our project, our goal is to better understand the neural circuits underlying emotional contagion, particularly focusing on the role of the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), by using functional ultrasound imaging (fUSI) in mice.
