Project Description:
Our project focuses on the neural circuit mediating cue-triggered decisions. By using the non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) techniques, fMRI and Pavlovian-instrumental transfer (PIT) task, we aim to explore the neural mechanisms of environmental cues on decision-making and whether these cues can also be associated with the actions of others in a social environment.
Grant Information:
This research is part of the Human Brain Project (FLAG-ERA JTC 2019) titled “The “Motor-way” to Decision-Making: how the motor system drives cue-triggered decisions” (MoDeM), and Valeria Gazzola is one of the principal investigators of this grant.
