You’re invited to the Weekend of Science on 5 October (between 12:00 and 17:30) at NEMO Science Museum’s Studio (Marineterrein, Amsterdam)! Learn more about our fascinating brain and the process of ageing.
We’re organising varying activities for children and their parents throughout the day. All activities are linked to the museum’s existing exhibition ‘Living Looonger’.
Save the date and keep an eye on this page for the complete program.
Learn more about the Weekend of Science on their website.
See you then!
We want to help blind people see again with a brainchip. Put on the VR-goggles and experience what they would experience. Can you, despite your ‘new’ vision, follow the route in the fastest time? The clock is ticking, so give it everything you’ve got to see if your name places highest on the scoreboard.
Learn about the different brain areas, where they are, and what they do. Afterwards we’ll compare your creation to a real human brain! How well do you know your own brain?
Test your memory in this memory game! Do the test, followed by a short work-out, and try the test again. Did you improve? Let’s find out!
Dive into the world of dreams and sleep. Explore the room to find the answer to exciting questions about sleep and sleep-research. Do you want to know more? Ask one of the researchers! Have a fun exploration!
Discover how social and physical contact affect your health and feelings through a few fun mini-games. Step into these fun and educational activities and discover the value social interaction.
The Friends Foundation facilitates groundbreaking brain research. You can help us with that.
